Our site location will allow us to serve as a regional hub for youth from throughout Southern California.
We are developing a $100 million youth center in the community of Westchester, surrounded by the 405 Freeway and LAX, and more than a dozen public and private schools and two universities.
In partnership with Los Angeles World Airports and the Archdiocese of Los Angeles, Lulu’s Place will be the new front door to Los Angeles with a 50+ acre site between the north runway of LAX and St. Bernard High School.
Next to one of the world’s busiest airports, Lulu’s Place will be a highly visible symbol to millions of visitors that Los Angeles is creating a more equitable future for its youth.
Nearly 3,000 students attend school within walking distance of the project site.
Within a 10-mile radius, there are more than 50 schools, the majority of which are Title 1 with large populations of students who are low-income, food insecure, foster youth and English-learners.
