Nearly two years since breaking ground just north of LAX, construction continues to chug along for Lulu’s Place, a $170-million athletic and education complex which is being built with philanthropic money.
Located on 34 acres of long-vacant land on the north side of Westchester Parkway, the project will include a 25,000-square-foot learning lab sponsored by Tiger Woods’ TGR Foundation, tennis courts, soccer fields, playground areas, walking paths, and a dog park. The facilities will be made available to the general public, including offerings such as academic, athletic, and wellness programs to be offered at free or low-cost.
